Natalie Darling has been creating unique jewelry using stones and various metals for over two decades. Her current focus reflects her love of gemstones as she incorporates them into new artful and imaginative creations. Come meet the artist during the Historic Downtown Mall’s First Friday celebration on Dec. 5th, from 5-8pm.
This exhibit will showcase different facets of gemstone creativity, extending beyond conventional jewelry. Darling’s "Fantasy Trees" are crafted using repurposed or found objects, adorned with gemstones, crystals and unique findings. This creative process allows her to offer the beauty of these earthly treasures in larger formats that can be displayed and enjoyed on many different levels.
And yes, there will also be jewelry! Jewelry for this show will feature exclusive pieces not usually included in Natalie’s displays. Statement pieces of Larimar, Opals, multi-colored Sapphires and beautiful watermelon tourmaline are among the selection of stones used. These distinctive pieces showcase the variation and natural allure of the gemstones, making each item truly one-of-a-kind.
This exhibit will open on Dec. 5th and continue through the month of December.
