Taking place March 20-23 in Charlottesville, this year’s festival promises an exciting lineup of authors, thought-provoking discussions, and memorable events spread across beloved venues throughout the Downtown Mall and beyond.
For three decades, the Virginia Festival of the Book has brought together writers and readers from across the nation to celebrate the Virginia Center for the Book’s mission and Virginia Humanities’ vision. Our focus remains on accessibility and diversity, showcasing a range of voices through various events for all.
As a program of Virginia Humanities, we seek to present programs that reflect the organization’s values of creativity, curiosity, dignity, humility, and inclusivity. We feature a diversity of voices, thoughts, ideas, and opinions.
